First of all, don't worry Grandma and Grandpa, I'm still alive.

But, maybe worry a little bit, because I might be crazy. I just turned down an offer to do bio research on an island in Sweden for 6 weeks this summer. I mean, I had some pretty decent reasons for doing so, but still! Sweden! Bio research! Aaah! Luckily there's a research position in Turkey that I'll be applying for instead...

In less *headsmack* news, I'm going to be an RA when I get back to Whitman! So excited!

Other than that, I'm currently sitting in an internet cafe writing a blog post instead of doing research for my Camino paper. Tomorrow I'm going to Valencia with my study abroad program for a day trip. Today it rained a lot and I spent a good portion of that time curled up in bed reading a good book. Sometimes the day just calls for that.
