I spent over half an hour in the cellphone store today, with a man who has got to be the most patient person I have ever met. Plus it was my second time visiting him with cellphone issues. I'll save you the details, but the aaaaaah-what-happened-to-my-28-euros-worth-of-saldo problem has been fixed.
I'm trying to figure out where I'm going for our week off in October. So far its been quite the feat. First it was Italy and Greece; then Italy, Greece, and Egypt; then back to just Italy and Greece; and now possibly only Italy. Hard to get a group of 6 people to figure out what they want to do and then actually do it! I'd love to go to Greece, but I'm not sure it's going to happen any more. Granted we didn't look for very long since we were mainly concentrating on flights from Spain to Italy, but the flights we found from Spain to Greece were prohibitively expensive. So at the moment we're looking at Rome, Florence, Venice, and then hopefully a few days in Athens as well. Egypt would also be amazing but definitely won't fit into the week, and I'm seriously tempted by a Prague, Budapest, Vienna combination instead but don't know if I'd be able to find someone to go with me. But hey, a trip to Italy wouldn't exactly be a disappointment!
I have a midterm tomorrow. I've been in class for less than a week. So far we have reviewed accents, ser vs. estar, prepositions, and por vs. para. Erm. I'm in the advanced level of an advanced Spanish class? Although soon enough I'll be starting my direct enrollment class (classes? not sure yet) and will probably be in way over my head.
I guess I'd better go study?
